Growth and Cycle
Krista Milazzo & Angela Taylor
brown stoneware, slips, stains
Krista popped into the gallery late 2008, early 2009 and helped often in the gallery, duties like making sure Angela ate was a top priority. She helped brainstorm ideas and tidy the place up too.
Krista a natural writer and big idea thinker created a series of Haiku Poems “Growth and Cycle” for the collaboration. Angela then wrote them on the clay, added colors and textures to complement the energy in each Haiku.
A Haiku is a Japanese poem written in 17 syllables broken down to 3 lines of 5, 7, and 5.
